Folks, I know filing reports sounds pretty boring. But I’ve certainly filed a lot of reports during my career, from law school to the business world and later as Virginia’s Governor.

Today, I’ve got another kind of report on my mind: At midnight, our team will file our quarterly fundraising numbers with the FEC.

Frankly, I need folks like you right alongside me and making sure Democrats have the best FEC reports possible ahead of the end-of-quarter deadline. Please, pitch in if you can.

When my eighth grade social studies teacher helped spark my interest in politics, I can tell you right now I didn’t consider this career because I wanted to file fundraising reports. But it is a part of the job that we can’t ignore. Keeping pace with our goals each and every quarter is vital if we are going to elect Democrats here in the Commonwealth and defend our U.S. Senate majority.

My team is filing this report at midnight tonight. Will your name be on it? We still have a ways to go to reach our goal before the June FEC deadline at midnight.
