Monday, Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) responded to a new report detailing how
test scores for 13-year-old Americans plunged to their lowest levels in
decades. Hinson said those responsible for school closures during COVID must be
held accountable.

Tuesday, Rep. Jen Kiggans (VA-02) marked PTSD Awareness Day and stood in
solidarity with veterans who may struggle with the disorder. Kiggans is a
former Navy helicopter pilot and a Navy wife.

Wednesday, Rep Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) highlighted her bill to help moms
in rural areas find quality and affordable child care.

Thursday, the Supreme Court ruled against affirmative action programs at
Harvard and the University of North Carolina, with Justice Thomas arguing "the
Constitution prevails."
Reps. Michelle Steel (CA-45) and Young Kim (CA-45), both Asian-American
immigrants, applauded the ruling.
