It’s been a year since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, giving DeSantis and Republicans in the legislature free reign to destroy our reproductive freedom and control our bodies. As soon as the 2023 session began, the GOP fast-tracked their near-total abortion ban right to the Governor’s desk.
If the 6-week ban goes into effect, Florida will have one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the country. The only way to fight back is at the ballot box. That’s why our team is wasting no time recruiting and training Democratic pro-choice women candidates and working to protect our incumbent reproductive rights champions in 2024.
