Moving our stock and resources
As we get the library ready, we are moving our books and other resources across to the new library. We are busy unpacking and shelving our books,? getting our computers and IT equipment installed and making sure you have an enjoyable experience when you visit.

As we move our stock across to the new Central Library building,?all Central Library stock, apart from the below exceptions, will be unavailable through our reservations system for a short time.
Stock and resources that are still available and relocated to other libraries are:
*Business books and resources at Bulwell Riverside Library* [ [link removed] ]
*Local Studies resources at other locations * [ [link removed] ]
*Music scores at Radford-Lenton Library* [ [link removed] ]
We apologise for any inconvenience this disruption may create for our users whilst this essential process takes place.

Nottingham Central Library and its surrounding area
Nottingham?s new Central Library, located in the heart of the Broad Marsh regeneration area, is anticipated to open to the public?towards the end of this year?after the work to turn the building and surrounding areas into a modern, creative and community orientated space has been completed.
The Central Library, housed in part of the Broad Marsh Car Park and Bus Station complex, will be surrounded by transformed streets, with pedestrianized areas, green spaces, and seating for pedestrians to enjoy.
Plans are in place to pedestrianise Collin Street and create a new plaza that connects the library to Lister Gate and the city centre.
