John, can you please give us a chance to explain why your contribution — especially today — is so critical to the outcome of Texas’ 2024 U.S. Senate race?

Last year, Democratic Senators Raphael Warnock, Mark Kelly, and John Fetterman beat the pundits’ expectations and won their races in Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania by larger margins than what Ted Cruz won by in 2018.

Texas has only gotten even bluer since Cruz’s last election, and experts are looking toward this FEC report as an indication of whether he’s still vulnerable.

That’s why we can’t afford to come up short on tomorrow’s end-of-quarter fundraising goal. We’re solely dedicated to defeating Ted Cruz in Texas and rely entirely on grassroots support, but right now, we’re not on track to hit our fundraising target.
