Disgraced Attorney General Ken Paxton's office was directly across from mine when I first started in the legislature, and it's sad to see how corrupt and unfit for office he has become.

Republicans in the legislature are using him as a scapegoat to try to distract people from their unpatriotic and extreme record of relentlessly attacking our freedom and democracy.

That's why it's so critical we report strong numbers to the FEC after Friday's deadline.
