Hi John, it's Colin, and I had to reach out one more time before our end-of-quarter deadline — the first major public fundraising goal of this campaign — because unfortunately, we're still short of our $750,000 goal.
Our ability to defeat Ted Cruz depends on reaching critical fundraising goals like this one. 2018 was the most expensive Senate race Texas has ever seen, and Democrats came within 2.6% of defeating Ted Cruz.
And listen: A new poll says 14% of Texas voters are undecided — so we need to be able to reach each and every voter to win this race.
