John, it's crunch
time. In less than 36 hours, we close the books on our 2nd quarter of the
year and will report everything we've raised in our effort to reelect
Jamaal.

Jamaal is leading our movement to stand up to this radical Supreme Court,
especially after today's ruling ending affirmative action. Right now, we
have to show that there's strong support behind him.

Let's say we raise the $7,723 left to meet our $30k online fundraising
goal for June, finish out the fundraising quarter with strong numbers, and
have the resources we need to continue building a people-powered movement
for NY-16.

The story that tells the public is that people believe in Jamaal's message
and this movement is not slowing down. We'll have the people & the support
to keep leading NY-16.

Now on the flip side, let's say that we don't meet our $30k goal for June,
the public sees the downward slope in our fundraising, and we finish out
the month with less resources than we need:

The press and our potential opponents could sense weakness — and we might
have to look at critical aspects of our campaign to cut.
