When I was growing up in Mansfield, Ohio, it was a community of ironworkers, carpenters, autoworkers, and electricians. But over the years, jobs have been shipped overseas, savings lost, and hopes for a comfortable retirement dashed – all as the cost of homes, health care, and prescription drugs skyrocket.

I'm running for reelection to tackle these critical issues and make sure that our country not just recognizes – but celebrates – the Dignity of Work.

But here's why I'm worried: Experts at FiveThirtyEight say that this race could decide Senate control, and Mitch McConnell has personally named me a top target for defeat. He knows, as well as we do, that his path to taking back the majority runs straight through Ohio.

That's why it's critical I reach out to you today, friend. With just a couple days left until the FEC end-of-quarter deadline, I'm falling short of my $200,000 goal. Senate control is at stake in this race, and I need your help to get back on track – fast. The importance of your contribution – right here, right now – can't be emphasized enough, so please:
