About the job
The Carpenter/Standby Lead & Trainer will be responsible for a wide variety of trade related maintenance, repairs, and construction remodeling work in DES owned facilities within Thurston County. The incumbent will work with other trades workers including but not limited to Carpentry, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Electrical, Paint and Sign, and Grounds to complete work.
The selected candidate will work independently or under the supervisor of the appropriate tradesperson and will follow approved DES work processes and procedures, as well as national and local building codes and standards to accomplish work assignments in a timely manner. This position also leads other carpenters and guides trade staff as needed.
Full-Time | Permanent
Monday - Friday | 7am- 3:30pm (Flexible schedule)
