friend,

As Learning for Justice professional learning facilitators, we work
with educators every day. And, as former teachers ourselves, we know
exactly what public school teachers are up against.

Hate and extremist groups are on a mission to enforce anti-LGBTQ+
restrictions, white supremacy and censorship of honest history in
public schools. These groups have recently exploded in both numbers
and influence. By the end of 2022,?84 anti-student inclusion
bills

?had been at least pre-filed or introduced in 26 states.

The generosity of our donors allows us to provide quality social
justice classroom resources and valuable professional development for
educators, all free of charge. If you're able, please make a
special contribution to help us meet our June fundraising goal -
the future of equitable, inclusive public education depends on it.

Our hearts hurt for every student experiencing incidents of hate or
discrimination at school, LGBTQ+ students who are unfairly deprived of
the right to be their authentic selves, and students of color whose
history and culture is being systematically erased from curriculums.

With your help, Learning for Justice is doing our part to make sure no
child is denied an equitable education.

Beyond providing classroom materials, Learning for Justice provides
spaces where people can harness collective power and take action.
Through a continual cycle of education and engagement, we're
creating the grassroots resistance needed to defy the anti-student
inclusion movement.

All our liberation is bound together. Thank you for being a force for
justice.

Sincerely,

Courtney Wai and Jaci Jones
