There's a saying we're thinking about today -- if you're unsure about someone's character, look at the company they keep.

Rep. Mike Garcia has had a number of questionable Republicans in his corner over the years -- including former President Donald J. Trump.

Just last week, another MAGA extremist added their voice to the chorus. Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz.
 
If there was any doubt about the type of representative Garcia is, this should clear it up.

This nod of approval from Matt Gaetz really highlights what we've long-known about Garcia:

On the campaign trail, he wants voters to see him as moderate. For example, after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, he told Californians we had nothing to worry about. But behind the scenes, Garcia is voting alongside extremists like Gaetz to ban critical medications used for abortions.

Garcia is banking on voters not paying attention to stay in power. We've obviously got other ideas, but if we're going to flip this seat, we need to send a clear message that we have the resources and support to do it.
