This month, as we celebrate Pride, we celebrate freedom, diversity, and the right to be who you are and love who you love.

This year, there is a special urgency to that celebration.

More than 500 anti-LGBTQ bills were introduced in state legislatures during the last legislative period.

On the campaign trail, Republican presidential candidates are increasingly using transgender Americans to score political points and appeal to MAGA extremists.

Friend, Pride has always been about fostering resilience and hope in the face of difficult times.

We must continue to stand tall and remind the world that we have a right to be ourselves without the fear of violence or discrimination.

So as this month comes to a close, let’s move forward recommitting to champion equality and send the message that June isn’t just a celebration of who we are, but a declaration that we won't back down all year long.
