Neighbor!
No matter what line of work you’re in, I think we can all agree that it’s been a busy year so far — and it’s only June.
Up in Albany, I’ve been working hard to make New York a safer, fairer, and more affordable place for all of us to live — and as the legislative session came to a close earlier this month, it’s time to celebrate our wins. From expanding the Child Tax Credit to cover additional 800,000 children by including children aged 0-4, to securing an MTA rescue plan that boosts service all across our district, sending my Freelance Isn’t Free bill to the Governor’s desk, and enacting crucial climate legislation like the Build Public Renewables Act and the All-Electric Buildings Act, we’ve done a lot this year.
.
And while I’m proud of everything we’ve already accomplished together, there is still so much more we need to do next year.
So join me to celebrate our wins this year, kick off our progress towards next year, and last but not least, celebrate my birthday!
