Unlimited quota deer, antelope permits available starting July 10

It's time to start looking ahead to fall hunting season! Hunters may begin purchasing unlimited quota Nebraska deer and antelope permits July 10.
Residents, nonresidents and eligible landowners may purchase permits through the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission starting at 1 p.m. Central time.?Purchases may be made online [ [link removed] ], in person at a Game and Parks office [ [link removed] ], or via mail.

Fort Kearny SRA will allow fireworks July 4
Only one Nebraska state park area will allow fireworks this Fourth of July. Visitors to Fort Kearny State Recreation Area will be allowed to touch off fireworks on July 4.
Due to exceptional drought conditions, Branched Oak, Wagon Train, Memphis and Pawnee state recreation areas will not permit fireworks as they have in past years.

Paddlefish snagging permits accepted July 1-14
This fall, you could enjoy fishing for one of Nebraska's most unique fish species in the Missouri River. Apply for a paddlefish snagging permit from July 1-14.
The application period opens at 1 p.m. CST on July 1. Mail applications must be received by Game and Parks? Lincoln office by 5 p.m. CST on July 14, while online applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. CST on July 14.
