					A new ADL survey revealed more than half of Americans have experienced hate or harassment online, with a dramatic rise in incidents over the last 12 months, especially among teens and LGBTQ+ people. Neo-Nazi rallies terrorized Georgia synagogues, with one congregation member calling it "the most terrifying thing" they'd ever seen in their life, drawing swift condemnation from ADL and state leaders. And ADL condemned actress and comedian Roseanne Barr for her recent reprehensible and irresponsible comments about the Holocaust and Jews.

					'Hugely damaging': Most Americans are being harassed online when using Facebook, Twitter and Reddit

					“Online hate and harassment rose sharply in the United States this year across demographics, leading to the highest rates in the country since 2020, according to a new study released Tuesday. The Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) annual survey found more than half of Americans reported experiencing online hate and harassment at some point in their lives, up from 40% in 2022. About 33% of adults said they experienced online hate, up from 23% in 2022 and the increase was starker for teens, with 51% reporting online hate this year, up from 36%.” USA Today:

					Georgia leaders voice concern over antisemitic demonstrations outside 2 synagogues

					“Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and other state leaders have spoken out against bigotry and hate after antisemitic demonstrations took place outside two synagogues in the state this weekend. Groups were observed yelling antisemitic messages outside a Macon temple Friday night and displaying swastikas and signs with neo-Nazi messages outside a Cobb County synagogue on Saturday. Antisemitic flyers were also discovered in at least one central Georgia community.” CNN: FULL STORY

					Roseanne Barr condemned by Anti-Defamation League CEO for ‘reprehensible’ Holocaust comments

					“Roseanne Barr has been strongly condemned for her recent comments regarding Jewish people and the Holocaust. This week, a clip of the 70-year-old actor and comedian on the This Past Weekend podcast went viral, as she used the Holocaust and Jewish people to make a point about political propaganda.” The Independent: FULL STORY

					+Jonathan Greenblatt Tweet: Sarcasm or not, Roseanne Barr’s comments about Jews and the Holocaust are reprehensible and irresponsible. This isn’t funny. And shame on Theo Von for letting it go unchallenged and instead diving into conspiracy theories about Jews and Hollywood.

Jonathan Greenblatt: Thank you to the @AspenInstitute for inviting me to join today's important discussion at @AspenIdeas on the First Amendment on social media platforms. The bottom line is that companies must take responsibility for how their platform policies are
 exacerbating hate and extremism.

						Today, we welcome the guilty plea in the trial of the #ClubQ shooter who opened fire on an LGBTQ+ nightclub in Colorado Springs, murdering five people and wounding 17 more. This is a step towards justice, but nothing can replace the lives lost in this tragic attack.

						The real story here is one of hope and inspiration. Less than 24 hours after members of an antisemitic hate group protested outside Temple Beth Israel, hundreds showed up in solidarity with Macon's Jewish community. This is #FightingHateForGood WITH good.
