Barry Moore Member of Congress | Questioning Special Counsel Durham | Last week, I questioned Special Counsel John Durham about the results of his report on the FBI's investigation of possible Russian collusion in 2016. Click here to watch. | Standing against the ATF's pistol brace rule | I recently voted to block the ATF's unconstitutional pistol brace rule. The rule, titled "Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached Stabilizing Braces", would reclassify pistols as short-barreled rifles if they have a stabilizing brace attachment, even though many disabled veterans and other Americans rely on these braces to use their firearms. The rule turns 29 million Americans into automatic felons. | Congratulating the 2023 Congressional Art Winner | It was an honor to host Elle Salter from Providence Christian High School, the winner of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition, here in D.C. Feral swine have caused millions of dollars in damage on agricultural operations across Alabama and can undo years of hard work on Alabama's farms, ranches and forests. I am standing with Alabama farmers to take action against this threat by authorizing an eradication pilot program with proven results. | Discussing clemency at the DOJ | Recently, I participated in a Judiciary Crime Subcommittee hearing examining clemency at the Department of Justice. I expressed my concern about the politicization of the DOJ.
