Young people are pushing for changes that are clear and attainable.
John,
I’ve spoken with young people across the country about the issues that affect them today: Debilitating medical and student loan debt. Attacks on basic human rights for women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Widespread gun violence. A rapidly warming planet. The future they face is uncertain and volatile.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Politicians have the power and the obligation to make the world better for future generations. That’s why I’ve spent my career advocating for the policies that will move this country forward and provide for the youth of America.
Young people are pushing for changes that are clear and attainable. We need Medicare for All to make quality healthcare affordable for all Americans. We need to cancel student debt and give young people the financial freedom to own a home and pursue the American Dream. We need common-sense gun reform and a Green New Deal. We need legislation that will explicitly protect the right to choose, the right to medical care, and the right to thrive regardless of who you are or who you love.
