John, I’ll be honest, being a full-time mom running a full-time campaign is difficult.

But that difficulty isn’t an accident: Extreme financial inequality leads to political inequality. Everyday workers (and yes, parenthood counts!) are being denied a seat at the table because we can’t afford to self-fund a run for office.

We see it every day, how wealthy politicians are so disconnected from the struggles of working mothers and average Americans. That’s why it’s so important for folks like me to step up and run for office anyway. It’s time for us to take control of the system and pass the progressive policies working communities deserve.

That’s why I’m running a grassroots campaign, solely relying on support from folks like you – not just from the deep-pocketed people who always fund political campaigns. But I have a HUGE public deadline coming up, and that disparity could cost us unless people like you chip in NOW.

Right now, we need to raise $5,000 to hit our End-of-Quarter goal.
