Tomorrow is going to be a big day in NY-03.
And not just because tomorrow is the first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline since launching our campaign (more on that below).
Tomorrow also features George Santos’ next appearance in federal court after being charged with fraud, money laundering, theft of public funds, and more — making it that much more urgent that he does not get a second term.
George Santos lied to the voters and now he is under indictment on 13 felony charges.
He is an embarrassment to our district and he is clearly unfit for office. If he had any sense of shame or felt any responsibility to his constituents he would have resigned months ago, but it is obvious that he does not — so it is going to be up to us to remove him from office next November.
But Republicans are going to do everything they possibly can to hold on to this seat. This district could determine which party holds the House majority in 2025, so far-right radicals are going to spend as much as they can to keep it red.
That is why reaching this end-of-quarter goal is so important. If we can hit this target we will show everyone that we have the capacity to raise the kind of money it will take to compete and flip this district back to blue.
Thanks for your support,
