Patriot, “No one is above the law!” Throughout the two impeachments of former President Donald Trump, this was the chorus that everyone who wanted to defeat Trump sang to the media, day after day. But putting the facts of the cases and partisanship aside: nobody should be above the law. But where are those very same people today? It is becoming increasingly clear Attorney General Merrick Garland – who, as U.S. Attorney General, essentially is the law, with no check on his power besides impeachment – repeatedly lied to hide the fact his Department of Justice blocked investigations and charges against Hunter Biden in corruption and tax fraud cases. . . . . . Cases where President Joe Biden himself could be implicated. Suddenly, the very same people who once crooned “no one is above the law,” now sing another familiar refrain: “Witch Hunt!” Perhaps the biggest issues here are not that
crimes were committed and that Hunter Biden is getting off with sweetheart misdemeanor plea deals, something you and I would never get, but that
Merrick Garland is shutting down investigations for partisan reasons and then lying under oath about doing so. Patriot, the answer is a full investigation of AG Garland, and impeachment if the allegations are true. Even the New York Times has confirmed U.S. Attorney David Weiss attempted to bring criminal charges against Hunter Biden but was blocked by top DOJ officials. “But in
mid-2022, Mr. Weiss reached out to the top federal prosecutor in Washington, Matthew Graves, to ask his office to pursue charges and was rebuffed,
according to Mr. Shapley’s testimony. A similar request to prosecutors in the Central District of California, which includes Los Angeles, was
also rejected, Mr. Shapley testified. A second former I.R.S. official, who has not been identified, told House Republicans the same story. That
episode was confirmed independently to The New York Times by a person with knowledge of the situation.” This bombshell is just more corroboration indicating Merrick Garland’s claim made under oath that nobody blocked Weiss from bringing charges, made over and over for months and again just days ago, is false. If Garland blocked these charges, this is obstruction of justice at the highest level: to protect the President’s son, and it seems likely the President himself, from facing justice. This is not a partisan concern, but a fundamental issue of equal justice under the law. There is ample basis for Congress to pursue these potentially criminal – and impeachable - questions. Congress needs to fully investigate these questions, and if what all appearances suggest is the truth, the only remedy is to impeach Attorney General Merrick Garland. One of the IRS whistleblowers in this obstructed case, Gary Shapley, noted the investigation began “as an offshoot of an investigation the IRS was conducting into a foreign-based amateur online pornography platform,” which led to the discovery of some of Hunter Biden’s text messages. In one of these messages, Hunter Biden allegedly told his Chinese business associate: “I am sitting here with my father [Joe
Biden] and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before
it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I
will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not
following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.” This is an extraordinary statement that suggests Joe Biden was heavily involved in his son’s business dealings. But as the IRS whistleblower noted, “the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office, Department of Justice Tax, and Department of Justice provided preferential treatment and unchecked conflicts of interest in an important and high-profile investigation of the President’s son, Hunter Biden.” And according to reports, six witnesses can reportedly back up claims made by U.S. Attorney David Weiss that he was denied the special counsel status to prosecute Hunter Biden. If so, this is a textbook case of obstruction of justice. If indeed “no one is above the law,” as we’ve heard people say for years, then indeed Congress has an obligation to hold the top law enforcement officer accountable. Remember, not only is there extraordinary evidence of corruption at the highest level, but Attorney General Merrick Garland is also responsible for the weaponization and politicization of the Justice Department, overseeing legal abuses against American citizens. These include everyone from peaceful protesters to concerned parents. But if indeed “no one is above the law,” it’s Congress’ job to investigate and hold Merrick Garland accountable. Patriot, America’s slide into tyranny must be stopped now, before it is too late. You and I cannot just sit back and simply allow this two-tiered, elitist justice system to continue unchecked – I’m concerned this Orwellian tempest will prove far worse than anything we’ve seen in our lifetimes. . . If we simply let it go, it will be our children and grandchildren who pay the price. Still, there is no doubt in my mind that with your help, you and I can massively build the numbers of Americans DEMANDING accountability and adherence to the constitutional rule of law. But it all depends on you and me turning up the heat and generating petition signatures, phone calls, and emails and showing Congress we mean business. So I have to ask – in addition to signing your petition – will you please agree to a generous contribution to help your Campaign for Liberty so we can turn up the heat and launch an all-out mobilization campaign to explain to the American people why this corruption must be stopped? Campaign for Liberty depends on the generosity of good folks like you for everything we do. And unfortunately, during these difficult times, our fundraising has taken a hit. So in addition to signing your petition, will you please agree to your most generous gift of $100, $50, or $25 today? I know times are tough. They are tough for us too. But the work you and I do has never been more critical. So please chip in whatever you can afford. And be sure to forward this message on to more patriots and bring maximum pressure upon Congress to do its job.
