This spring is packed with events and support to help your business grow, read on!
In the wake of the devastating attacks earlier this month we wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the events which took place that day and the heartwarming response we saw from our city as people came together to grieve and show solidarity.
After a tragic day that none of us hoped to see happen in our city, thousands attended vigils that were held across Nottingham in the following days at St Peter's Church, the University of Nottingham Park Campus and in Old Market Square in order to grieve and mourn the loss of three lives; Barnaby Webber, Grace O?Malley-Kumar and Ian Coates, hearing the strength and courage of their families and rejecting hatred and violence in our city.
It was incredibly moving to see so many people coming together to show that Nottingham is One City, a place of love and tolerance while rallying under the banner of Nottingham Together. It is so important that in times like these we pull together in such ways to show our strength, solidarity and resolve.
As we begin to heal and move forward, we at the Nottingham City Business Growth Hub Team would like to share our thoughts and prayers with the family and friends of the victims of the attacks, as well as with all those in Nottingham who have been profoundly affected by these tragic events.

CITB has recently launched a new initiative as part of the Employer Networks pilot in the D2N2 area. The trial aims to provide a streamlined process for CITB registered employers to access training funds without the need for forms or claim processes. We organise the training and remove the hassle of grant and funding paperwork from the employer.
We understand that securing funding can be complex, leading many to forgo it. However, funding is available for training to upskill individuals like you and your team. Our team will work with you to arrange training for the trade skills you currently require or those you will need in the future, such as net zero or digital skills.
Levy-registered employers in your area have already signed up to take part in this pilot programme. Collectively, they are shaping how CITB funds are being spent and on what. You could be part of that, and if it?s a success, it could change the way training is funded forever.
Check out Employer network pilot - CITB or contact - Judi Minty / 07843 218023 (Employer Network Delivery Manager) for more information.
