Our chapters are fighting for a future rooted in liberation, love, and solidarity!



- Our California chapters are putting their collective strength behind a statewide, BREATHE Act-aligned campaign to restore voting rights to people in California state prisons and put polling sites in county jails.

- In Pittsburgh, we’ve made our first-ever endorsement in a local election, helping Sara Innamorato win the primary race for Allegheny County Executive. This was a critically important race with significant implications for improving conditions in the Allegheny County jail, which the chapter is also working on in partnership with the Alliance for Police Accountability.

- Our Champaign-Urbana chapter is working on campaigns to end wealth-based pretrial incarceration, support reproductive justice, and move resources toward care and crisis response for migrants coming into Illinois. They’ve connected these campaigns with the common thread of advancing safety for all in Champaign-Urbana and beyond.

- Leaders in our Cincinnati chapter joined a large coalition fighting for abortion rights protection in Ohio. They are building relationships with BIPOC-led organizations and amplifying how reproductive justice impacts Black and brown communities.

- In San Luis Obispo, leaders spearheaded a campaign to stop the building of a new $52 million police building. They wrote op-eds and letters to the editor focused on investing in the community instead. Those plans are halted for now!

- Maryland leaders are working on the Defund Hate campaign to disinvest from Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection federally, with a focus on organizing local synagogues. They are also continuing to work with voting rights organizations to increase voter engagement.

- Our New Mexico chapter has successfully organized and trained local synagogues to adopt community safety teams that keep services safe without guns, guards, or gates. This work built off the chapter’s commitment to deep political education, and they’ve met with other Bend the Arc chapters to do similar work in other parts of the country.
