National Academies Partners with Hastings on AI Code of Conduct Ravitsky Appointed to Steering Committee
The National Academy of Medicine is partnering with a group of leading ethics, tech, health, equity, patient advocacy, and research organizations, including The Hastings Center, to develop an artificial intelligence code of conduct. Are Laws Restricting Transgender Student Athletes "Fair"? Evidence Doesn't Support Restrictions
Twenty-one states have passed laws barring transgender youth-athletes from competing on public-school sports teams in accordance with their gender identity. "Packed to the Brim with Unique Insights" 19 Underrepresented Students Complete Program
Justice and Water. Race in Bioethics. Reproductive Ethics. Global Health Justice. These were among the wide range of topics explored in The Hastings Center Summer Bioethics Program for Underrepresented Undergraduates, which took place online from June 12 to 16. This was the second year of the program for undergraduate students from groups that are underrepresented in bioethics, including but not limited to communities of color, Indigenous communities, residents of rural areas, and people with disabilities.
