Dear Friend,

On Tuesday I was invited to brief the United Nations Security Council at a Special Session on the Middle East and the Palestinian Question. I addressed the current human rights violations facing the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation and called on the international community to take concrete actions to defend Palestinian human rights. The experience was fascinating and I look forward to writing about it more in this week's Washington Watch column.

I know you care about Palestine, which is why I am sharing with you the recording of my speech. The full session can be found on UN TV. 

The current situation facing Palestinians under occupation is fraught with new dangers, requiring us to step up our work. I thank you for always standing with AAI and hope we can count on you to respond to this appeal to support our efforts. Together, we will continue to work hard and advocate for Palestine and Arab Americans.
