Friend, this is important. On Wednesday I picked up my official nomination papers to represent Massachusetts’ First District!
I’m excited about the movement we’ve started, and the road ahead. However, we need 2,000 signatures to make the ballot, which means we need all hands on deck.
We’ll need dedicated volunteers to reach this goal, plus we’ll need to print more campaign materials and rent additional space for training volunteers to gather signatures. This all means we need the resources to ensure our entirely grassroots campaign is at full power.
If we don’t get on the ballot, then we’ll have no chance of beating Richard Neal, who uses his power as Chair of Ways & Means to block progressive priorities related to healthcare and climate change. Can you contribute today to ensure we have the funds we need to reach 2,000 community members and get the signatures we need to make the ballot?
I started this campaign because I believe that people should be at the center of our politics and that our communities should be the #1 priority of our elected leaders. For 30 years, our district has been represented by an establishment Democrat who has failed us by siding with corporate special interests.
With your help, we can take on the corporate Democratic establishment here in Western and Central Massachusetts, and replace it with a progressive, people-powered movement.
But if we don’t get the signatures we need, if we can’t get on the ballot, then we’ll have no hope of winning. So we need your help to have a chance to kick corporate interests out of MA-01.
Can I count on you to support us with a $15 donation today?
Thank you, Alex
