We’ve always known that as we got closer to calling this convention, our opposition would become more powerful. 

And, John, that’s exactly what we’re starting to see. 

Already, 250 Soros-Funded organizations have announced a coalition in opposition to our efforts. That’s bigger than any Leftist coalition in support of Hillary or Bernie Sanders…and yet they are unified against COSA!

We’ve found their operatives infiltrating state legislatures before our votes, we’ve uncovered Google Ads meant to pull in people looking for our website which take them to web pages that are filled with misinformation, and we know that they are launching massive text campaigns to flood legislators with calls against our legislation. 

And this is only the beginning. We expect that as we get closer and closer to convention, we’ll begin to face-off against everyone from mainstream media and movie stars, to social media influencers with millions of followers. 

We’ve seen more evidence of this with recent in-depth, hit pieces published against Mark Meckler, COSA’s President, in Leftist news rags — along with a news story in the Boston Globe claiming that we are attempting to “gut the Constitution.” 

John, as you know, nothing could be further from the truth. We are working to use the Constitution, to save the Constitution.

Now is the time to lay our foundation DEEP and ensure that we are ready for what lays ahead. Now is the time when we have the strategic advantage. Because we know what lays ahead. And we’re preparing. 

We’re launching large-scale digital ad campaigns to reach every liberty-loving American to get them engaged as a petition signer in favor of calling a Convention of States. 

Then we’re personally calling as many petition signers as possible and encouraging them to get engaged in the fight as a volunteer. These aren’t just robo-calls. These are calls from real COS volunteers who are connecting with them, discussing their interests and talents, and getting them plugged into the fight. 

We are cultivating a MOVEMENT, with everyone from block walkers and phone bankers, to people who are writing letters to the editor, meeting with legislators, and playing an active role in leading the COS passage efforts in their state. 

Our growing grassroots army is getting engaged in the fight, preparing to take on the opposition, and honing their skills with frequent calls-to-action that push their state closer and closer to victory.
