This week, we wrap up our 2023 annual campaign. Annual campaign support allows us to keep staff on the ground in the General Assembly and across communities in North Carolina to support critical gun violence prevention measures and programs.

NCGV has been working for 30 years to reduce the number of incidents of gun-related deaths in North Carolina. And in 2018 our work expanded to launch the NCGV Action to support candidates who advocate for gun violence prevention at the NC General Assembly. In our grassroots and direct lobbying, we saw the need for more elected officials to prioritize gun violence prevention legislation.
