John, I won't sugarcoat this. 

Political experts are saying this race could be the most competitive and expensive Senate primary in history. 

We have a long and difficult fight ahead of us. And with GOP megadonors and MAGA Republicans eager to foot the bill, it’s only going to get worse.

I am determined to win in California and protect Democrats’ razor-thin majority in the Senate. But to do that, I need your support to build up our defenses and fight back. With our FEC end-of-quarter deadline on Friday, can you please give $5 to help me defend my seat?
