John, I know you’ve been getting a lot of messages lately about the upcoming FEC deadline.

If you’re already willing to chip in and support my campaign before Friday’s FEC deadline, with under 3 days to go, I’m humbly asking for your $3 contribution.

But if you are not convinced yet, please give me a chance to explain why your support is so important.

There is no doubt — the fundraising numbers my team will report to the Federal Election Commission after Friday will spur Mitch McConnell and his dark money allies to action. They are desperate to flip the two seats necessary to retake the Senate majority and will spend any amount of money to do it.

But there is something more fundamental going on in this election:

Will we be a more just, loving nation?

Or will we descend into darkness and division? A level of discourse where falsehoods and untruths are placed on an equal pedestal with facts and the foundation of this country?

I do not need to tell you the chances of who President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris may face in 2024. But I will tell you that with every outrage, every scandal, and every disqualification, the direction of this race is becoming more clear.

Now is time to decide: Who are we as Americans?

I know which side I’m on, and the fact that you are reading this tells me which one you are on too.

So I'm asking you, John: Will you take the important step of chipping in $3 toward my campaign’s FEC fundraising goal with under 3 days to go until our deadline? Because the truth is this is much bigger than one deadline — it is about the direction that we will be moving toward as a nation.
