Affirmative action. Student loan payments. LGBTQ+ Rights.

These are just a few of the topics the Supreme Court is set to issue major rulings on over the coming days. But in the wake of a handful of ethical scandals at the Court all tied to right-wing billionaires and Court-capture operative Leonard Leo, Americans increasingly are unable to trust that these life-altering issues will be decided on the basis of facts and law rather than politics.

We can see the fingerprints of Leo and his network of shady right-wing billionaire activists all over some of the Court's big decisions — like the overturning of Roe last year.

Recent reporting has exposed that the right-wing Supreme Court majority is too cozy with the dark money Court capture operation that helped install those same justices. It is past time we pass my Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act and my DISCLOSE Act, so we can get to the bottom of who’s spending millions to try and rig our democracy.
