Since Biden took office, there have been more than 5 million illegal migrant encounters along the southern border – including more than 204,000 encountered in May alone.
Nearly 2 million illegal immigrants have successfully evaded border agents and escaped into the interior.
Data shows 125 individuals from the terrorist watch list have been encountered this fiscal year, compared to about 98 in all the last fiscal year and about 10 in the last year of the Trump administration.
Biden’s executive branch has failed to faithfully execute the law. Plain and simple.
With that, I made the decision to stand on the House floor last week and join the call to refer articles of impeachment for President Joe Biden to committee for his refusal to secure the border and protect the American people.

Our country’s laws have been laid out very clearly. They were designed by the Founders to ensure that our border will be protected, and that our sovereign land is secure.
It is on Congress to then take action when the Executive Branch fails to adhere to its duty to defend the Constitution.
Our Homeland is not secure.
And this is a direct result of the refusal of this administration to follow the law.
And the consequences are the deaths of Americans.
This cannot stand.
