In 2024, we have the opportunity to take back the House majority from extreme MAGA Republicans like Kevin McCarthy and Marjorie Taylor Greene. As long as voters have the opportunity to make their voices heard, I’m confident we can get it done.

The GOP’s far-right, anti-choice agenda repels voters. Republicans know this too – that’s why they’re committed to using tactics like gerrymandering and voter suppression to help them win elections by distorting the rules in their favor.

While attacks on voting rights have been mounting, there has been good news. Earlier this month, the Supreme Court rejected arguments from Republicans calling for the dismantling of the Voting Rights Act. Instead, the Court reaffirmed the VRA as an important tool for making our elections more fair and more representative. And then, the Court issued another win for voters, rejecting a far-right theory that threatened our system of checks and balances.

These were critical victories for our Democracy – and the visionary leadership of Eric Holder, the NDRC and its affiliates in our fight for fair maps was critical to this success.

From his time as the 82nd Attorney General of the United States to his time as chairman of the NDRC, we have seen him step up time after time to protect our voting rights and defend the bedrock of our Democracy.
