From my perspective in Congress, here are the ‘red flags’ when it comes to the House GOP:

A handful of hard-right members of the Freedom Caucus have the power to stop the House over a simple rules vote — making it impossible to move legislation.

A so-called ‘Fair Tax Bill’ has been proposed, which would abolish the IRS and includes a 30% flat tax that would increase the tax burden on working families and the middle class.

A proposed GOP energy bill would abandon many environmental protections and stop advancements in clean energy development. And it turns out, the incentives are handed straight to Big Oil Republican mega-donors — no surprise there.

Plans to slash Medicare and Social Security, hard-earned benefits that are lifelines for millions of America’s seniors.

After finally electing a leader after fifteen rounds and four days of voting — the first vote Republicans took was to further restrict access to abortion and reproductive care.

Friday’s deadline is a pivotal point, and this people-first campaign is about showing how powerful we are as a team. I am relying on you to chip in.

Chaos has marked the GOP’s time in leadership, making good clickbait for MAGA extremists, but American families are struggling and rights are on the line.

Every single vote, district, and state counts, with GOP candidates galvanizing their base early, Democrats need to kick it into high gear and do the same. Friday’s deadline is our opportunity to prepare for the campaign ahead, help us get started.
