John, I’m in the middle of a really busy week at home in our community but just took a quick meeting with my campaign team and have some news – and I wanted to be the first to let you know.

A little background: Our second FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline (aka June 30 to most of the world!) is around the corner. This isn’t just a random deadline, but a date on which all of our numbers go public – a major milestone in planning our continued campaign. It’s also a date on which our opponents can see everything this movement has to offer, which means it’s especially important we show up big.

So here’s the update, John: We’re so close, but we’re not quite there yet, and reaching this goal could be a game changer in our campaign. That’s why I’m reaching out: John, will you help us close this gap?

If we reach this goal, I know we can head into this coming election season with a strong team of people-powered support. We can fight back against misinformation, mobilize voters, and continue to share our message of truth and progress.
