Look, John we realize that $23 might be a lot to ask of you — but we wouldn’t be asking if it weren’t crucial and timely.

During the first half of the year, we have been laying the foundation for big races in 2023-2024. Everything that we’ve put in so far this year is what will determine our ability to hire more staff, budget expenses, and support our pro-choice Democratic moms as they run for office.

And already, we’ve scored three major election victories in Virginia. First, Jennifer McClellan became the first Black Congresswoman to represent the state when she won her special election in February. Then, last week, two more Vote Mama PAC endorsed candidates — Jennifer Carroll Foy and Lashrecse Aird — won their competitive primaries for the VA State Senate.

Clearly, we’re off to a strong start. But that doesn’t mean we can let our foot off the gas. In fact, this is just the beginning. If we’re truly going to have a meaningful and lasting impact on the issues that matter, we need to rev up from here on out. As we wrap up this quarter, it’s our FINAL chance to make critical early investments to help ensure the success of more pro-choice Democratic moms in the months ahead.
