Sanders, Trump win New Hampshire presidential primaries
Bernie Sanders won the Democratic presidential primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday night. With 94% of precincts reporting, Sanders received 26% of the vote, followed by Pete Buttigieg with 24% and Amy Klobuchar with 20%. President Donald Trump won the Republican primary with 86% support. He is projected to earn at least 20 of the state’s 22 delegates. Bill Weld came in second with 9% of the vote.
Incumbent state supreme court judges won re-election 93% of the time since 2008
Every state, plus the District of Columbia, has at least one supreme court. These courts do not hear trials of cases. They hear appeals of the decisions made in the lower trial or appellate courts. But, how judges get on these courts varies depending on the state.
