Neighbors,

Many of the laws passed in the 2023 legislative session are set to go into effect on July 1. Several of the new measures will increase funding in agriculture, education, renewable energy, public safety, and elections. Among the key bills taking effect are free school breakfast and lunch for all K-12 students, protecting health care workers against violence, limiting no-knock warrants, funding for rural broadband, and more.

All these measures support the House DFL?s effort to build a state to work better for everyone. We believe everyone should have opportunities to thrive and succeed. Summer fun in the community

Minnesota offers so many opportunities for fun in the summer and our communities are the perfect place to be for the July 4th holiday. The Eden Prairie Hometown Celebration is a full day of fun for everyone and takes place from 3:00 p.m. ? 10:30 p.m. at Round Lake Park.?You can read all about the activities here [ [link removed] ].
