Run for Something

Hi there --

This week, we endorsed a diverse group of 43 young progressives who want to make a difference in their communities and are ready to work like hell to make it happen. Meanwhile, our alumni in office are actually making the kind of change that would give even the most hardened heart a little bit of hope:

  • In Pennsylvania, the Allegheny City Council -- which includes three (!) Run for Something alum -- just banned LGBT conversion therapy for minors
  • Across the country in Colorado: State Representative Brianna Titone is pushing through the GOP opposition in her fight to provide free pad and tampon dispensers in schools with high concentrations of low-income students.
  • And close to home in New York, State Senator Jessica Ramos introduced a bill that would help legal service attorneys get student loan forgiveness and increase student loan reimbursement in order to encourage attorneys to work in underserved communities

Government can be good when good people are in charge. And whether they win or lose, running good people raises the bar for candidates in every corner of the country. Help us find, recruit, and support those good people with whatever donation you can.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thank you -- and happy Valentine's Day!
