End-of-quarter fundraising deadlines are probably the most frantic times for any campaign, besides Election Day, of course. Why?
Because we have to publicly release our fundraising totals. Everyone, from MAGA Republicans to the press, will scrutinize our numbers to gauge how competitive we will be, come Election Day.
Here’s why it’s so important that we show the public that we have the widespread grassroots support, the momentum, and the resources we need to win:
As Republican legislatures around the country restrict abortion rights and National Republicans push for a nationwide abortion ban - the stakes have never been higher.
We know the climate crisis is real - it’s affecting us in Colorado already. We need to elect leaders who will fight back, protect our water supply and our public lands, and prepare us for the wildfires we know are coming.
I’m fighting for the regular people whose needs so often go overlooked in Washington. Coloradans are working so hard to get ahead and we have to make it easier to get good jobs and support their families, send their kids to good schools, and afford things like housing and health care.
So, John, I’m asking you: Can I count on you to split a donation between my campaign and the Colorado Democratic Party today?
With so much at stake in Colorado, and in our country in 2024, we’ve got to start fundraising, organizing, and engaging now.
Thank you so much for your support,
Brittany Pettersen
U.S Congresswoman
