Dear advocate,

A lot will happen this summer as it surrounds the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB)and small business lending. We cordially invite you to join us on July 17th from 12:00 pm ET to 1:45 pm ET for our webinar: Gaining Ground: How the CFPB Helps Consumers and Small Businesses. We will host two panels during this webinar featuring national and state partners.

  • Panel one: Leading the Charge to Protect Consumers: We will focus on CFPB and its vital role in protecting consumers. We will hear from faith leaders, civil rights advocates, and consumer advocates in the communities CFPB serves and coordinate efforts to protect this institution from attacks on its structure and funding.
  • Panel two: Increasing Transparency in Small Business Lending: We will focus on how advocates can continue to fight for transparency within the small business lending industry. We will hear from national and state partners who will discuss the importance of implementing the 1071 rule, and they will also discuss how to advocate and engage with legislators on small business lending.

As we gear up for this summer, we ask that you join us in our advocacy efforts to protect CFPB, consumers, and small businesses. We hope you will plan to attend this webinar and will leave empowered and ready to advocate for consumers like yourself.

Sincerely,

Jaylon Herbin
