We know you care about children and their families. We do, too.
That’s why Congress needs to pass the American Family Act of 2023. This legislation includes the four essential elements of a Child Tax Credit expansion: refundability, advanced monthly payments, an increased amount, and no exclusion of families based on their tax number.
With many of these elements in the temporary expansion of the Child Tax Credit through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the lives of millions of kids were transformed. By the end of 2021, 3.7 million children were kept out of poverty, including 163,000 Asian children, 737,000 Black children and 1.4 million Latine children.
Please call your Representative and ask them to expand the Child Tax Credit for all children.
