John, this movement hasn't stopped fighting since the disastrous decision to overturn Roe, and we are only just starting to see the results. EMILYs List has celebrated a number of victories recently, including:

> Defeating anti-choice politicians: Lashrecse Aird, an EMILYs List-endorsed candidate, defeated the last anti-choice Democrat in the Virginia Senate last week. Lashrecse's win puts us one step closer to holding a pro-choice majority in the chamber, which is critical to protecting abortion access in the South.
> Protecting abortion access: Three states have codified Roe in their constitutions, and voters defeated ballot measures to ban abortion in Kansas and Kentucky.
> Expanding access to birth control: The FDA unanimously voted to recommend that the agency approve over-the-counter birth control, and pro-choice legislators introduced a bill to make the pill free.
> Electing pro-choice judges: Janet Protasiewicz, an EMILYs List-endorsed candidate, won her race to become a Wisconsin Supreme Court justice, which means that the court could overturn the state's abortion ban.
