Expanding our Southern Trans Youth Emergency Project
Dear John –
It's amazing to see so many folks across the country and around the world making donations to celebrate Give OUT Day, the only day of giving for LGBTQ+ equality. We wanted to remind you that all June donations to the Campaign for Southern Equality will be DOUBLED (up to $25,000). So today, you can make your contribution to Give OUT Day go further! This week, the Campaign for Southern Equality has been on the ground in Raleigh alongside our partners at Equality NC to raise our voices and fight for trans youth at the NC General Assembly – and we're teaming up with partners for an emergency Town Hall to help North Carolina families brace for the possible passage of dangerous bans on gender-affirming care.
That's all a part of our continually-expanding Southern Trans Youth Emergency Project, which provides rapid response support directly to the families of Southern trans youth impacted by the healthcare bans. STYEP, in close partnership with state and local organizations, helps families connect with the care they need and deserve even in the face of these oppressive laws.
This Give OUT Day and throughout June, your contribution to Campaign for Southern is being matched up to $25,000. We are so close to hitting our match goal. Please donate and take your support further. ([link removed])
Thank you for all you're doing.
