The Donkeys Are Coming The Donkeys Are Coming
Marching Forward!
Join fellow Dems and our donkey mascots on Tuesday the Fourth of July to make a strong statement that democracy, equality and freedom of choice are woven into the fabric of our country. We will gather at the Fairgrounds - look for the Teton Dems banner - and will have family-friendly posters, flags and other paraphernalia, or you can bring your own. The parade begins at 10, so please arrive by 9:45. Email (mailto:[email protected]) us with questions.

Reaching Across the Divide

As we celebrate our country's independence, here's another way to show your patriotism. Reach across the political aisle and have the courage to see the humanity in others--even those with whom we disagree. "One Small Step" gives people a way to do something about polarization. This initiative brings two strangers together to record an hour-long conversation about their lives, not politics.
Conversations are facilitated by a moderator who offers questions to keep the hour long conversation on track. Respect, attentive listening, and curiosity are at the core of a One Small Step Conversation.

Since 2017, over 3,400 Americans in 40 communities have taken part in One Small Step. This summer KHOL is one of five radio stations nationwide participating in this project by StoryCorps ([link removed]) , the archival storytelling organization.
