John, summertime is in the air, and we are sure the last thing you want to be thinking about is the ongoing threat to our democracy.

But it is essential that we continue our work registering voters, expanding the electorate, and getting people ready to vote this November, each and every day.

This November, we will elect local officials and a new PA Supreme Court Justice who will either defend us from the far-right’s plans to disenfranchise voters and suppress votes and overturn elections or help them do it.

To make sure we don’t let the danger to our democracy get any worse this year, we need to close the gap to our mid-year fundraising goal by Friday and gather the resources to put the summer to good use. Will you pitch in $10 right now to help us reach our critical goal and continue engaging historically neglected and disenfranchised Pennsylvanians?

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
