Folks,
As Michelle’s Campaign Manager, it’s my job to keep a close eye on our finances and make sure this campaign is in the strongest position possible as we go into the next quarter. I’ve been looking at our numbers over the quarter so far and I want to give you an inside look at where our campaign stands.
As you can see, our numbers have been steadily dropping over the past few weeks.
With our End of Quarter deadline approaching in just two days, it’s absolutely crucial that we pick those numbers up before this quarter ends.
That’s why we set a goal of raising $16,877 by midnight on Friday — because that’s what it’s going to take to put us in the strong position we need to be in when we move into the new quarter on Saturday. We’re counting on folks like you to help us get those numbers up where they need to be — will you make a contribution now to help us to do just that?

Folks, this isn’t just about reporting the best numbers possible — although that’s definitely one piece of it.
What we raise in the next few days determine what we will be able to accomplish over the next quarter. That means all of our summer plans — digitally and on the ground — are hanging in the balance right now.
Without raising this $16,877, we’re going to have to make some huge cuts to the plans we have for the coming months. And that’s just not something we can afford to do.
We’re up against an opponent who has no qualms about taking corporate, special interest, dark money donations — that’s exactly what Monica De La Cruz did last time she ran for office. But that’s not who Michelle is. That’s why we’re committed to making this a grassroots campaign.
Just as South Texas is at a crucial moment right now, our campaign is facing its most crucial deadline at a time when our fundraising numbers have not been where they need to be — but there’s still time to turn that around. Will you make a contribution of whatever you can afford so that we can pick those numbers back up and put this campaign in the strongest position possible for the next quarter?
Talk to you soon,
Kirby Chandler, Campaign Manager
