John,

HUGE: Police officer Daniel Pantaleo was just found guilty on all charges in the NYPD’s disciplinary trial for killing Eric Garner. Now it’s up to NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill and Mayor Bill de Blasio to decide whether to follow the NYPD trial judge’s recommendation and actually fire him.

We’re launching a petition to demand that the police officer who murdered Eric Garner be fired, immediately. Please add your name now. The more people who speak up, the louder we will be heard.

Pantaleo is currently suspended. It’s been five years since Eric Garner was murdered, and the whole thing was captured on video.

Today, NYPD's own judge, Deputy Commissioner of Trials Rosemarie Maldanado, just determined that Pantaleo should be fired for multiple severe violations of department policy in the murder of Eric Garner. The judge found him guilty on all charges.

It’s ridiculous for the NYPD to say they need more time. It’s a full-fledged scandal that this case has taken so long.

My best guess is that the NYPD wants to allow Pantaleo to resign and keep his pension before they fire him. This is what this is really about. But he should be fired now. No pension.

Sign our petition: Tell the NYPD Commissioner and Mayor de Blasio to fire Daniel Pantaleo immediately for murdering Eric Garner and severe violations of department policy.

Already, it’s been 1,842 days since Eric Garner was murdered. Let’s make it not a day more. His family deserves justice now.

Love and appreciate you,
