Anthony and I first met on the East Coast at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania.

No, we didn't meet at a party or even a political party meeting. Instead, we met on the school’s library steps and then later as student volunteers programming on campus entertainment.  

We then moved to California to begin our careers —mine  was in consumer products and Anthony was in the film and TV industry.  We have lived in this congressional district since we settled in our first apartment on Los Feliz Boulevard. 

Back on those library steps, I can assure you we never envisioned a world that would involve politics... or even a Congressional campaign.

But after seeing him work tirelessly serving our community all these years later, from City Councilmember, Mayor, Assemblymember and now State Senator, I know we need Anthony in Congress. 

You might consider me a bit partial, but Anthony is a genuine leader and fighter. And for those of you who know Anthony, you know his moral compass will never let him waiver from doing the right thing.

That's why I know he's the best candidate to defend and prioritize women’s rights, healthcare for all, LGBTQ equality, common sense gun laws, labor rights, public education, mental health, and so much more. There's so much at stake. But we must help Anthony get there first.

As you may know, the political pundits track how much money the candidates raise and then use those numbers to judge the strength of a campaign. There are only days until the next fundraising deadline and Anthony must have a good fundraising report.
