Dear John,
All through June, VoteRiders has been expanding our efforts to help LGBTQ+ voters get the ID they need — one that accurately reflects their identity and allows them to cast a ballot that counts.
Trans and nonbinary people face unique challenges to securing identification that is acceptable for voting and that reflects their name and/or gender identity. For transgender and nonbinary voters whose ID doesn’t match their name and gender, voter ID laws can make the experience of casting a ballot confusing, intimidating, and disempowering.
Today, on the anniversary of the Stonewall riot, help us get the word out to all LGBTQ+ voters!
